Objectives and description of the duties of the Scientific Survey Department

The Department of Science and Technology of the University is responsible for the following tasks under the supervision of Information Management, Medical Science and Scientific Resources of the Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of the University:

  •      Monitoring and evaluation of scientific and research activities of the university
  •      Continuous updating of the scientometric system of university faculty members
  •      Citation analysis of university scientific productions
  •      Providing the latest information related to specialized scientific publications at the level of the country and international publications
  •      Monitoring the credibility of domestic and foreign journals requested by university researchers
  •      Extraction of scientometric indexes (citations, H-index, etc.) requested by researchers from national and international authoritative indexes
  •      Preparing a report on the scientific output of the university and presenting the university's scientometric reports
  •      Observation and monitoring of scientific articles of the university in reliable databases
  •      Preparing and announcing the latest information related to journals indexed in reliable databases through the department's website
  •      Holding educational workshops for scientometric liaisons and university researchers regarding scientometric indicators
  •      Providing face-to-face and telephone guidance to clients regarding relevant matters
